How about eating healthy is normal and we call eating junk something else instead? Name suggestions welcome in the comments!
Eating whole real foods: meat, seafood, *dairy, vegetables, fruit, *whole grains, is normal. Organic is normal. Food didn’t used to be grown with pesticides. Didn’t junk food not even exist 70-80 years ago?!
*If tolerated/not sensitive or allergic.

New week… new month… new healthy habit anyone?
Could be something big, if that’s where you’re at, or something seemingly small. Even small habits add up to big changes over time.
A 10 minute walk after a meal will help you feel better and aid in digestion.
10 minutes of stretching each day doesn’t sound like a lot but your body will thank you.
They say if you do 10 air squats, 10 times per day, it’s like taking 10k steps. Not sure if that’s accurate but it’s a start.
Maybe your healthy goal needs to be to speak kindly to yourself, both out loud and in your head.
Or to drink more water. Aiming for a minimum of 50% of your body weight in ounces of water per day (if you’re sedentary… if you’re active or sweating a lot that number goes up).
What’s a healthy habit you want to implement? Or one that you have and made a difference for you?
If you were waiting for the 1st, a Monday, next month, to start. It’s here. Pick a healthy habit and start today. No excuses, no more putting it off for tomorrow.
Make it small, sometimes that’s the best way to start. Just stay consistent and it WILL add up.
If you don’t know where to start here’s some ideas:
Drink a glass of water before coffee.
Speak kindly to yourself (out loud and in your head).
Take the stairs.
Go for a 10 minute walk after dinner.
Stretch for 2 minutes before, or right when, you get out of bed.
Do walking lunges on your way back from the bathroom.
Do 10 air squats every time you swear… you might still have a dirty mouth, but at least you’ll have great legs 😂

Also not speaking against MD’s. Many are wonderful and save lives every day. Rarely, though, is nutrition, diet, prevention, or natural remedies taught in medical school.
Acid reflux isn’t always caused by a lack of stomach acid and sometimes medical intervention is necessary. Sometimes, however, a more natural approach is needed.
I had a client with Gerd, who was able to (with her doctors approval) stop taking antacids, as well as meds for high blood pressure and high cholesterol, because we worked on improving her nutrition and increasing her activity level, as well as adding in apple cider vinegar.
