Do you ever wonder why you have hairs trapped under the skin? Over time your skin can buildup and clog the hair follicle.

A physical exfoliant will take care of that! is my favorite!

A physical exfoliant is used 2-3x a week. DO NOT over exfoliate. Doing so can cause skin irritation and more ingrown hairs.

When the skin is moisturized and soft, the hair pulls out of the follicle so easily. This is why it’s important to moisturize your skin in between your appointments.
Do you ever notice prickly hairs left behind after a wax? One reason is because the hair broke off. If the skin is dry, the hair will be dry and just “snap” off.

There is also less of a “sting” when the wax is removed if the skin is properly moisturized.

Hair Growth Cycles 🔁

Everyone has 2-3 layers of hair growth.

The first time you get waxed, the hair that is grown out of the skin is the FIRST layer of hair growth. The second layer of hair is the hair that will grow back between your first & second appointment.

*note* 📝 the first wax is never perfectly smooth because the layers of hair growth are off track. Most people have sparse growth within 1-2 weeks of first initial appointment.

It is very important to NOT SHAVE OR NAIR so your second layer of hair growth can get on track with your first layer.

The second time you get waxed- you’ll get a better result because your hair cycles will be on track together.
