Y'all already know that purple is my favorite color, HOWEVER can we talk about this cute af haircut?! Obsessed.

She's a friend and a client all rolled into one. I'm so grateful for the relationship we've cultivated over the years. One more reason that I'm well aware my life is FULL. 🖤💚

This is where we work with the canvas, not against it.
She came to me with grown-out box color and a LOT of hair, so instead of fighting all of that existing pigment, we used it.
I took her natural regrowth into a rich level 6 red-violet and used the old box color to help create this seamless melt into black through the ends.
Corrective color doesn't always mean removing everything and starting over. Sometimes the smartest move is figuring out how to make what’s already there work for you.

Everybody say hi to the next generation of our industry! This is Brandon. He's 17, a senior in high school, a future cosmetologist...and currently walking around with a haircut I am entirely too obsessed with. We kept it soft, shaggy and textured with a perfectly lived in fringe. Back to school never looked so good!

I've been doing Clara's hair since she was 9 years old.

Now she's 19, a sophomore in college, and somehow I'm expected to be emotionally normal about that. Absolutely not. 😭

Her natural level is a 4, so we did global highlights to create soft, dimensional brightness while still keeping plenty of depth so it feels rich instead of over-lightened.

Ten years of hair appointments later and she's still sitting in my chair. 🖤

Also, apparently I blinked and one of my little clients became an adult. Rude.
