Just wanted to let my clients know-my new schedule here at the shop is going to be available Tuesdays and Fridays 10-5. Mondays are still for pre-scheduled hot towel shaves. I have brought on one new person to the crew so let’s all give her a warm welcome-Kaley comes to us as a cosmetologist turning to the dark side 😂 welcome to the crew! Kaley will be in shop Wednesdays, thursdays, and Saturdays! Let’s keep filling those books!

Slowly but surely coming back into view-one of my longtime clients returned! His hair flows just as smooth as butter! And I’m finding a love for the longer fades as well! Thanks for coming thru!

Forgot to post that I finally bleached it out! Letting it grow to shave it and do something special for next month!!

Come on by Shorty’s Barbershop for a cut! I’m FINALLY back to work(taking walkins onlywhile i gain back the muscles/muscle memory)! Moving slow but still moving! I am so blessed with an amazing crew at the shop that is now bursting at its seems by noon each day!!

Whoever said you can’t live your dream life is wrong! They probably gave up. But we ain’t no quitters! 😆

Hey everyone!

This is hard for me to post, because I loved having my space there-I’m closing up shop as of now. I need to focus on recovery from being ill, which is a wrench in the plans. I will not be able to cut hair for at least the next three weeks.

That being said-if you need a good barber in the area I have a few different fellas that can hook you up!

It’s been a fun ride these last two and a half years! The Body Shop and i am so thankful for Amanda allowing me to have my business there. Meeting new friends, advanceng my skills day after day! Life changes when you see that you don’t HAVE to do anything, but you GET to do them.

If you want to continue to see me-I’ll be at my shop, Shorty’s Barbershop in Uptown Notmal! (Near train station, under the coffee hound). I’ll post my link in the comments for booking with me at that shop!

Now that the people who needed to know, it is with a resilient heart that I am embarking on a new chapter by closing my Pekin location. March is my LAST month in Pekin! I have loved this past year with everyone and I am grateful for the experience that has prepared me for the next level. I am excited to continue to grow and explore new opportunities!

How in the world did I manage to cut my hands three times in one haircut? Followed by guarding my thumb while looking for my card reader. Please stop bleeding by morning cause I really don’t wanna have to go to the hospital!!!
