I have spoken to many women who have come into the studio for many of the services I offer who go on to share their personal journeys they have been through with cancer,
Diagnoses and treatments. The overwhelming words I hear are “but I was left feeling so incomplete”. Whether it be horrible scarring, hair that never returns or new breasts but with no ar**la and ni**le.
After all the pain, energy and strength it takes to go through any aspect of cancer, I cannot imagine getting to the end of the final surgeries and healing and feeling unrecognizable in the mirror.

Did you know that a woman with cancer or another serious illness is 6 times more likely to go through a separation or divorce? While there are so many reasons that could be, I always wonder what portion of the struggles comes from feeling unlike herself, less feminine, ashamed or embarrassment.

The services I offer are designed to make every day living simpler and more complete. But it also means so much more than that for some.

Completeness. Confidence. Femininity.
Those are the real reasons.

After a life changing surgery, many women are left feeling very incomplete. Ar**la repigmentation is a meaningful service that allows the option to feel “normal” again.

I don’t want you leave you with brows that look like makeup. I want you to leave with your brows looking like brows. The ones that make people go “those aren’t fully real??”

The question I have learned to always ask myself before doing anything to a clients skin is, “what is going to be the best long term and will truly make their life easier?” This wasn’t necessarily taught to me from the beginning and through my own experience I am learning what’s truly best and most ethical for my clients.

Scenario 1: saturated brows, look amazing and always done for a couple years. Pigment starts to neutralize, fades but leaves behind a cool undertone that can be covered only if it fades enough or will need laser removal.

Scenario 2: light powdery pixelated brows, don’t need any makeup on the average day, gives you a nice brow “skeleton” to fill in when you want a fuller makeup look, fades out slightly over time and gets a retouch that never overpowers or makes a long term solution impossible.

While hearing “these are not meant to last forever” may feel like a let down, I promise you, as trends, age, hair color & personal desires change, you still having the power to decide you want a change on your face will mean so much more too.
