The DocFrock's primary purpose is to accommodate the health conscious woman for annual gyn and/or mammo exams; however, the exam dress is designed as a multi-purpose exam dress and has many other uses. Including pregnancy through childbirth and breastfeeding, it is an exam dress for any medical appointment that you have to change out of clothing, it contains no metal parts and can go into x-rays,
MRIs, etc. It feels and wears like pajamas but is fashionably designed as day clothes. We currently have two styles with plans to continue manufacturing them in a variety of fine patterns and solids. The DocFrock is a private-label, with a patent-pending. Our sizes are Girls (14-16), XS (0-2), S (4-6), M (8-10), L (12-14), XL (16-18), XXL (20-22), ###L (24-26). The DocFrock comes with a matching pair of DocSocks packaged in a small 10"x12" black sheer organza drawstring bag. Best of all it is "patient-owned" and doctor-friendly. The button openings at the sides enable them to be connected to IVs and to use walkers without exposing themselves. There are buttons down both sides with spacing in between each button to allow for tubing or other medical instruments to be positioned at different areas of the body so the patient is comfortable and covered. The DocFrock manages easily for mammograms while keeping the patient clothed. The elastic yoke and straps help keep the frock snug for lowering one side at a time for the mammogram. For cancer patients undergoing treatments the straps easily unbutton to access ports. The bottom buttonhole can reattach to the button under the arm to prepare for an annual female examination plus it comes with a matching pair of DocSocks to cover the feet. There is a button-hole on the bottom back at both sides to button up the lower back area when having an annual colonoscopy. The DocFrock's design allows for many different accessories. It gives patients in long term care options for dressing to look and feel good. The DocFrock can be accessorized with sweaters, shrugs, boleros, leggings, etc., to provide additional coverage. There are many beautiful ballet flats that coordinate with the DocFrock too. Machine wash/dry in any temperature, any colors. Stains wash out and fabric never wrinkles.
