As you know, Thursday, August 6 marked two years since Dr. Scileppi and I officially began our partnership at Balance Aesthetics.

In between seeing patients and a very busy day at the office, we made sure to sneak over to our 1938 𝓢𝓹𝓪 𝓗𝓸𝓾𝓼𝓮 for a few quiet minutes together — to walk through the rooms, admire the history and incredible charm of this old home, and talk about our vision for everything it will soon become. 🪞🕯️

It felt a little reminiscent of two years ago, when we stood together in our original Balance space imagining what that could become.

Of course, I grabbed a quick selfie of us. And with three beautiful fireplaces in this little house, we knew immediately that one of those gorgeous original wood mantels needed to be behind us. 🤎

There was something really special about standing there together — taking in what we’ve accomplished over the past two years, laughing about a few things we’ve learned along the way, and getting excited about where we’re headed next.

And because apparently the day wasn’t already sentimental enough, Dr. Scileppi surprised me with the most beautiful flowers and a heartfelt card. 💐 I’ll keep the words in the card between the two of us, but they meant more to me than he probably realizes.

The first slide is a little peek at the vision coming together for the foyer of our 1938 𝓢𝓹𝓪 𝓗𝓸𝓾𝓼𝓮 — warm walnut, aged brass, creamy linen, alabaster and pieces that honor the character of this beautiful old home.

Two years of partnership.
Two years of Balance.
And somehow, it still feels like we’re just getting started. 🤍
