Have you ever noticed that sometimes you bruise more easily or feel a bit more tender after injections, and other times barely at all?

It’s not your imagination — there are so many variables when it comes to bruising, even your menstrual cycle can play a role.

During the luteal phase (the second half of your cycle, after ovulation), progesterone levels rise and can affect your blood vessels, making them a little more prone to leaking or bruising. Hormonal shifts can also heighten inflammation and change your pain perception, so treatments might feel a bit more sensitive than usual.

It’s nothing to worry about and completely normal — but it’s one of those small, fascinating ways our hormones influence how our body responds to even the tiniest details.

If you tend to bruise more easily or feel more tender during certain times of your cycle, let us know. Small adjustments (like avoiding certain supplements, using Arnica, or timing your appointment around your cycle) can make all the difference, but just know we can’t say “you’ll never bruise” 💕

The lip filler roller coaster is real! We want filler but don’t want to be overdone (top pic). We end up loving the swelling (middle pic) and when it goes down (bottom pic), we are ready for more at our 2-3 week follow up! Getting ready to add another 1/2 to this beauty but she is already loving the subtle changes. We will add some height to the left side, define the borders, and hydrate for the perfect pout, stay tuned for the final results 💕
