What to wear after your spray tan...

While your tan is developing, we want NO skin to skin contact!!!

Think oversized t-shirt, loose shorts or sweats — basically anything loose and comfy that isn’t going to rub against your skin.

No leggings, tight jeans, sports bras, etc.

You want to be able to sit, relax and let your tan do its thing without your arms, thighs or anything else touching your skin.

Basically… I need you looking like Adam Sandler. 😂

POST TAN TIP | Your First Rinse

One of the biggest questions I get after a spray tan is, “What do I do when I shower?”

Here’s exactly what you need to know:

• Wait the recommended development time before rinsing.
• Use lukewarm water, not hot water.
• Let the water gently rinse away the cosmetic bronzer.
• Use your hands only. No washcloth, loofah, scrubbing or exfoliating.
• Skip soap during your first rinse.
• Don’t be alarmed when you see color going down the drain. That is the temporary bronzer rinsing off, not your finished tan.
• When you get out, gently pat your skin dry instead of rubbing.

And one of the most important things to remember: your first rinse is not your final color. Your tan will continue to develop after you rinse, so give it time!

The secret to a smooth, even tan really is in the prep.

• Exfoliate 24–48 hours before
• Shave the night before if you can
• Come with clean, dry skin
• Skip lotion, oils, perfume and deodorant right before your appointment
• Wear something loose and comfy afterward

That’s it. Nothing complicated. Just a little prep = a much better tan.

Homecoming season is here! For the best color, plan your tan 1–2 days before your dance.
Your tan takes about 24 hours to fully develop, so giving it that time means you’ll be at your best color for the big night!

After your spray, wait 24 hours before your first soapy shower. This allows the cosmetic bronzer to wash away while your developed tan stays behind, so you’re not worrying about bronzer rubbing off on your HOCO dress!

Don’t see your school listed? No worries! For a Saturday dance, Wednesday or Thursday is a great time to get your spray tan.
