This is a post I’d hoped I’d never have to make, but as a business owner in this industry, I know things are always changing.

Today is Alyssa (and Luna)’s last day at the Beauty Bar. 😭

Alyssa and I connected when I made a post about someone coming into the salon to help me with my clients during my maternity leave. As you all know, my standards are very high, and she jumped at the opportunity. Shortly after I returned from leave, Alyssa discussed with me possibly staying and having a permanent home at the Beauty Bar. I had never shared my little space with anyone else, but her and I just vibed the moment we met. So, we made it happen, and she’s been with me ever since.

Alyssa is taking up residency at her new home in Washington. As I said, as a salon owner, we should be used to people coming and going, but this one stings a little bit.

I will miss our conversations (maybe someday I’ll start a podcast), our “looks” at each other and the hand licks from Luna when she needs pets. You’re an amazing lash artist and just an all around good person.

Good luck girl. I’ll reach out confirming visitation for Luna 🥹
