Parker’s Project is coming back to Salon 5th Avenue, and we’re so excited to open our doors to local families again. 🤍

This event was created to offer children with autism a calm, welcoming salon experience where they can move at their own pace, take breaks, get comfortable with the space, and build trust with our team.

As our owner, Shawna, shares:

“As a mom of two autistic children, I know how overwhelming something as simple as a haircut can feel. Parker’s Project was created because I wanted families to have a place where their child could feel safe, supported, and never rushed through the experience.”

On Saturday, September 26 from 10–2, we’ll be offering complimentary haircut appointments for children with autism.

Appointments are required so we can keep the salon calm, comfortable, and at a capacity that works well for the families joining us.

No sew. No tape. No adhesive. It’s another extension method stylists can add to their portfolio and bring back behind the chair.
