Color correcting is one of the trickiest things for a majority of people🎨✨️ Let alone beginners🫣

I realize that my methods most of the time are unconventional. And for that same reason it actually helps many get ahead and it clicks for them✅️

Color correcting was always the thing that I knew could benefit me in my routine (and my darkcircles) but had me stuck for the longest time. Thats what made me study it harder and pushed me to really simplify it in a way that made sense to me at the time (a newbie to color correction).

Once I understood it, I realized color correction wasn't something "out of this world" to grasp. It was the people on the internet that simply dont know how to talk to "beginners"😒🚫

My mission as an artist and educator is to help you (at whatever skill level but especially newbies) understand the art in a way that isnt complex and overwhelming but thorough and easy to digest so you can move with intention and confidence behind the brush at a quicker pace than u think possible.

Makeup and everything in it , isnt hard to understand or do. You just need to learn from someone who has a thorough understanding and can relay that into material thats easy to comprehend. I know that's what I wish I had when I first started 😅

Majority of people don't know the difference between a finishing, mineralized, foundation powder, etc.

All of those are types of powders with different finishes and coverage levels. They perform differently and they will also wear down differently. They will also go on differently. Each one will pair well with certain makeup styles.

This is where you would strategically buy + pair each powder with a specific area of the face or u would just buy the best option for your makeup style/lifestyle.

Your primer isnt the one who carries the weight ... you do.

Your application and how it wears and performs says everything about how much you know behind the brush. Im talking product knowledge, ur approach, technique, etc.

You could say "I don't need it to stay for 24hr".... thats true.

But you do need it to last 4-8 hrs without slipping, falling , coming off, smudging, peeling, patching, etc.

You cant even run errands in a full face in the 100° heat without having to stuff ur purse with half your vanity just to "touch up".

Touch ups for you are every 1hr, my touch ups come the next morning....

This is about taking your focus from all this primer/setting spray noise and blocking it out because its wrong.

Your focus needs to be on becoming familiar with products and their performance/potential. Knowing ur vision and aligning ur approach to match. Pairing urself with the right products to make it a smooth and beneficial process.

Then u pair that with the proper techniques to help you execute YOUR vision. Every technique is different for a reason, it serves differently. Every product performs differently too.

Layering your makeup to your advantage so it CAN last u past 4hrs. Theres more to it than just picking up a "miracle primer" and hoping for the best.

Thats not realistic. Thats why you're makeup still doesnt last and comes off by the end of your day. Ur being fed all this s**t on the internet and its getting u nowhere.....
