It’s been a minute since I last posted. Weight loss has slowed or stalled a bit but I am
still losing inches. Down a total of 54 pounds so far. I haven’t measured since the last time I posted about it, but I am down another pant size so I know the inches are still coming off. Also, my body shape is changing…I have that hour glass back and am loving it! And my kiddo keeps telling me how small certain body parts have gotten. 😂

Recent NSV for me has been doing 100lb lat pull downs and 100 push ups last Wednesday in my training session. I cried. And my kiddo nailed the reason for my tears because I couldn’t seem to put words to what I was feeling. I felt proud of my body and it’s ability to do something hard. She figured that out within seconds. For a long time I haven’t felt like I could trust my body to do hard things, and I proved myself wrong, and it was AWESOME!

Weight loss/ working out/ doing hard things…it’s not so much the physical piece you have to get through, it’s the mental game. It felt like a really big breakthrough for me. God gave me a sound mind. But I haven’t always been operating from that thinking. If you are struggling with something, ask the Lord for a sound mind about what it is you are struggling with. You can do hard things. You can do all things through Him who strengthens you.

My first inclination was not to post this photo because in it I see so many of my flaws; however, I changed my mind. Because even though I see all those flaws, I also see someone pushing herself to do better, to be better. So, here’s to the push, and all the changes that have already presented themselves, and the changes to come.
