Tuesday Tan Tip: Mani-Pedis should be done BEFORE your spray tan!

Complete manicures + pedicures 24 to 48 hours prior. If completed after your spray, your tan may become uneven and patchy due to soaking, acetone, oils, lotions, etc.

Completing a Mani-Pedi the same day as your spray tan is also a big NO. Oils and lotions left on the skin can create a barrier, leading to patchy and uneven development of your spray tan.

Ok let's be real for a second... standing exposed while getting a spray tan can be really challenging. My goal is to make every single individual feel comfortable in a judgement-free zone.
No I dont care about:
✨unpolished nails
✨scares
✨stretch marks
✨body hair
✨cellulite
✨loose skin
✨what your body size is
What I do care about is that you're getting a great experience and doing something that makes you feel good, like getting a spray tan!

Short answer...hell no!
In the early days of spray tanning solutions were limited and weren't customized to their skin. Because of the limited choice, what worked for one skin tone didn’t work for another.
At buxlux we use lots of formulations to choose from that eliminates that orange hue. We assess your skin tone and create the perfect color that works for you!
