There are moments that remind us how important community truly is.

Today is one of those days.

My heart goes out to every person affected by the violence at our local festival. I am praying for healing for those injured, comfort for their loved ones, and strength for everyone processing what happened.

May we continue to be the kind of community that shows up for one another, offers compassion freely, and helps create spaces where people can gather safely and feel supported.

Vacation mode: ON ☀️🌊

I’ll be out of the salon May 28th through June 7th celebrating a very special milestone as my son graduates 8th grade, along with taking some much needed family vacation time. During this time, I will be fully unplugged and will not be responding to work related messages, appointment requests, or inquiries.

All messages will be returned once I’m back in the salon on June 8th.

Thank you all so much for your continued love, support, and understanding. I’m beyond grateful for each and every one of you and appreciate you allowing me this time to make memories with my family 🤍

There’s something about the “lasts” that quietly break you a little.

Today was Cohen’s last all school Mass before graduating 8th grade next week, and somewhere between the prayers, the memories, and looking around at the place that has held us through so many seasons… it all hit me.

I realized it’s okay to feel sad about leaving a place that felt safe, familiar, and full of love. But it’s also okay to hold excitement and nervousness for everything new that’s ahead at the exact same time. Both can exist together.

Today I prayed for all the opportunities already placed in front of us, and all the ones still to come. I prayed for courage in the unknown, peace in the transitions, and trust in God’s timing.

And maybe for the first time in a long time, I can truly feel that some prayers I’ve carried quietly for years may finally be unfolding at exactly the right moment… when I’m finally ready to receive them. 🤍
