Yet there’s another layer here: a genuine empathy for every one of you who has ever loved so completely and then lost a dear, irreplaceable friend.
You are not alone in this pain. The ache you feel exists precisely because of the extraordinary, once-in-a-lifetime love you shared with these animals. 💔🤝
There is no other way to love them: we must fully open our hearts, let go, and pour ourselves into the forgotten, the neglected, and these truly wonderful souls who deserve so much more. 🌹🕊️
So when the deep hurt comes—and it will—allow yourself to feel it. Cry. Remember. Grieve. 😢
