Good morning all, recently I have been getting quite a few texts saying that my link to book isn’t working for them. I have also had quite a few say they weren’t getting their 24hr reminder texts which was leading to no shows. Originally I thought that the texts were just going spam folders but that only seemed to be true for about 50%.

With all of that being said I did some digging and square has updated some things and the version I was using previously seems to have made changes. I have upgraded the a higher version of Square DON’T WORRY EVERYTHING IS THE SAME. Most of the differences are on my end but some things you may notice, there is a waitlist option. You can join the official waitlist if you’d like a sooner appointment than what I have available. (I would suggest still booking an appointment incase something doesn’t open up) I now have appointments set to be confirmed one week in advance, you will be asked to confirm and you will get a 24hr reminder text. If no shows continue to happen I will have to have credit cards on file for booking and require a no show fee.

The last option that I want to try out is a customer loyalty program. It’s similar to Starbucks, you earn stats for $ spent and every 200 ⭐️ = $10 bonus.

I am wanting to build a website for my business. With that I will be looking for clients who are interested in being models for photos of my work for the website. Here are some things I will be looking for.

1.) All over color and or a root touch up client who is willing to refresh the ends for photos of both services.

2.) lived in blonde

3.) A partial or full highlight client (highlighted all the way to the root.)

4.) Women’s cut and style

5.) glaze and root tap refresh client

4.) a lowlight/ dimensional blonde client

The goal for me is the have a photo attached of the desired look with each service. I want you to know what you’re booking visually. I would ideally like all clients to have had their hair done BY ME within a couple of weeks of the photos and willing to offer a small discount for volunteering to be a model. The glaze and women’s cut/ style clients will get hair done the day of photos and price would only cover the cost of product. Looking for models who are comfortable doing their own makeup and styling their hair. Would need models to be in a stylish outfit and fit a certain aesthetic. At 26 years old, with a heart full of ambition, I opened my salon 10 years ago in 2016. I was scared, nervous I would flop — but I took a chance on myself and started Trilogy Studio 123.

A decade of highs and lows. Countless memories made within these four walls. So much growth — personally and professionally.

Today, that chapter comes to a close.
I am eternally thankful to every single one of you who supported my business and supported me over the last 10 years. Many clients have come and gone, but without each and every one of you, none of this would have been possible.

As this chapter ends, a new one begins. I’m excited to share my next venture in Perrysburg. While some things will be different, I truly believe this next phase will be even bigger and brighter.

I wasn’t sure how I wanted to share this news, and I waited until I had a plan in place before saying anything.
Last Friday around 7:00 PM, I received a call from management at Select Salon Studios letting us know they will be closing their doors. We were given notice that all studios must be vacated by February 20th at 5:00 PM. After 10 years of being in business for myself, I was suddenly left without a space to operate.
Please know I truly turned over every leaf. Studio rentals nearby are completely full, and I reached out to my realtor, fellow salon professionals, and commercial leasing agents. My last resort was booth rental at a salon—and after striking out more times than I can count, I finally found the right solution.
I’m excited to share that I will be sharing a studio space at Sola Salon Studios inside Levis Commons in Perrysburg. Some of you may remember I explored this option over the summer, and while it wasn’t the right fit then, sharing a space with Emily makes this an incredible opportunity now. I’ll be working out of a beautiful studio and I’m able to keep my prices the same—for now.
I know the drive to Levis Commons may be a bit farther for some of you, but I’m hopeful the area helps make up for it. It’s right off the highway, has plenty of shops, a Starbucks, and even a local favorite—The Flying Joe ☕️
This move happened with just 20 days’ notice, but it truly is the best option for my business, and I’m excited for what’s ahead at Sola.
Specific dates are still TBD. I’ll need to be out of my current studio in about a week and a half, and there may be a short transition period where I work some unusual hours or temporarily operate out of my mom’s studio until the new space is ready. If your appointment needs to change locations, I will contact you directly.

Wedding hair and makeup was something I chose to step away from after having my boys. Being a working mom is hard enough, and giving up my weekends to weddings just wasn’t sustainable for me anymore. I had to simplify and protect my work–life balance 🤍
That said, for existing clients—and in very limited doses—I still take on wedding hair. Back in September, I had the absolute pleasure of creating this masterpiece, and it was too beautiful not to share ✨
