Meet the woman behind the Glow ✨👩‍⚕️

What made me want to become a nurse? As a young mom, the first person to truly see me vs see my age, talk to me vs at me and educate me vs shy away from talking through the hard things was an OB nurse. It was at that time I knew. I knew I wanted to make others be seen, truly seen and heard. I knew from then how important hard conversations were. I also lived the reality that age does not define educational boundaries.

How long have you been a nurse? 22 years. This includes working night shifts on a medical floor transitioning to day shift. Years of cardiology came next followed by leadership as the Director of Nursing before taking an entirely different route of Nurse Injector plus owner and boss lady of Amber Glow ✨

What made you get your nail tech license also? Growing a clientele is not for the weak. Being present in the salon to meet clients, learn the environment and help where I could was a given. The only way to do that was to learn a new trade and make myself useful!

A little over a year in owning my own business and I can see the growth. I can see the returning clients and enjoy the building of trusting relationships. If you have been thinking of coming in I would love to chat with you about your goals and make a plan.

Here is a little before and after results for this fine dime! As you can see getting to know your clients face and muscles is very important for placement. I do a 2 week follow up for all 1st time clients making sure their results are what they envisioned. There is no one size fits all dose.
