My application order for face makeup!

I get asked about this all the time. There are, of course, different ways people may prefer to do this, but this is my current base routine for my clients!

My own everyday routine is a lot more simple, and I definitely don’t do every step, everyday. This is for full glam looks! So feel free to edit this to your lifestyle and only use what you need!

Rule of thumb for any application is: All cream products should generally be applied before powder products. I like to work in light layers with creams + powders especially on brides and when I need long lasting results!

One thing I’ll always pride myself on as a makeup artist is that I’ll probably never do the exact same look twice.

Of course, I want you to bring me inspiration photos, but I always want to make slight adjustments to customize it to YOUR face. It’s really important to me to constantly be learning different features, skin tones, face shapes, etc. Even when you’re a bridesmaid, I never want you to feel like I just threw something on your face really quick to get you in and out of the chair. No cookie cutter looks around here everrr!

🚨I will only be booking ONE Saturday wedding per month on a first come, first serve basis.🚨 In addition to that, I will also be booking Friday and weekday weddings. (Sorry, no Sunday weddings at this time)

As of now, I am only going to be booking spring 2027 (January-June) and will open the second half of the year in January.

Not my typical content, but I’ve noticed that I have a lot of fellow muas on this page! I was packing for my wedding tomorrow, and I figured I’d share this little tip.

I personally love to use beauty blenders in my applications, but they are not sanitary for reuse!! 🤢 What I have been doing is buying in bulk on Amazon and cutting them in half! This way, I’m able to easily just fit them into my clients’ touch up bags. Plus, it makes them go further to cut down costs, and, to be honest, you really only need half for an application! I feel like it even works BETTER to get into small spaces (like the under eye)

If you aren’t already doing this, definitely try it out!!
