Hello Everyone!

After three years of expertly dodging it, Covid finally got its hooks into the Crandell Family. I blame a Sharks hockey game for our downfall. Thankfully it was mostly mild after the initial few days. I disabled online booking for the time-being while I try to reschedule everyone from the last two weeks. This is no small task and I appreciate your continued patience while I sort it all out. I hope to have online booking back up and running by midweek. If your appointment was canceled, I will make every effort to get you back in with priority. Of course, if you're willing to just rebook online, please send me a quick message and I will take you off of my list. Appointments that are currently scheduled will happen as expected.

The good news is that I have an available week which I had blocked for travel during spring break that I won't need after all so we have options.

Thanks again for your care and offers of soup. Looking forward to seeing you all again soon.

Scheduling Update

Holiday and New Year Update

Hello friends!

As we come to the end of 2022, I would just like to thank you all for the love and support you have shown me this year. It goes without saying that it hasn't been an easy one, but having you all in my corner trusting me with your skincare needs is truly the most wonderful gift. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

There are just a couple of remaining appointments this week and I would love to see you before my annual holiday break. I will be out of the office from Saturday, December 24 to Tuesday, January 3, 2023. The last day to purchase a physical gift card is Friday December 23rd by 1pm. Otherwise, they are always available online. There will be more availability on Fridays and Saturdays for your convenience as well. I will return to taking new clients in February.

After some research and thoughtful consideration, i will also be increasing my 2020 prices to reflect the current local industry standard. This will allow me to continue bringing you the most wonderful products and techniques that you have come to know and love. Currently scheduled appointments will be honored at my current rates and bookings made from now forward will reflect the change. Gift certificates will be honored at face value. Thank you for understanding.

I wish everyone a peaceful, gentle holiday and hope for good new things in 2023.

I always knew I was profoundly lucky in the mom department, especially as I grew up and realized how hard it all can be at times. She loved to say “I taught you well” when it came to anything I was good at and i would just roll my eyes and laugh. I know without a single doubt that it’s true, but the one thing she missed was preparing me for living life without her.

During these final few precious days, she said she would be leaving on another big trip alone, just like before, when she first came to America from Scotland, but she wouldn’t go until Saturday. I held her hand to my heart as she took her final breath on Saturday night, and left this world on what I hope is the greatest adventure. Right on her schedule, just as promised. While my heart is broken, it is filled with more love and gratitude than can be measured. I will miss our teensy wee fairy and love her my whole life through💕✈️💕

Happy Fathers Day to all, but especially to this one. rigid recycling guidelines and dishwasher control issues aside, I couldn’t have chosen better in this life 💕

This beauty and I began her wedding prep about 8 months ago with regular facials and one to get her post-pandemic skin looking gorgeous for this incredible day. It was a complete joy to guide you in all things beauty, from skincare to tanning and to bring this glamorous and elegant vision to life. These magical photos are kind of how she just…is. Love you ✨💕🥂

New Year, New Things!

As we decompress from the holidays and look toward the new year, there are several exciting changes on the way. This fall, the scope of esthetics was legally redefined by the Board of Barbering and Cosmetology for the first time since 1978 (nonsense, I know!) This change allows for several services to be offered by estheticians without penalty. Beginning January 1, 2022. I am excited to officially offer the following:

Dermaplaning
Eyebrow Lamination
Keratin Lashlifts
Eyebrow and Eyelash Tint ;)
HydrowGlow Facial

I have been pursuing advanced training and certification, including blood-born pathogen safety, in order to offer you the safest experience while in my care. That being said, my 2019 pricing will be updated to reflect my current operational requirements beginning February 1, 2022.

Due to the current and unfortunate ease of transmission of the Omicron variant, I have decided to require proof of vaccination for any unmasked service, effective immediately. This includes all facials, makeup application, airbrush tanning, dermaplaning and any facial waxing other than eyebrows. Please be prepared to show your card so I can note your client intake form. I hope you understand that keeping myself, my family and all my clients safe is my only concern. If you are not vaccinated, please cancel any appointment where your mask would need to be removed. If you arrive for your appointment and cannot provide proof, you will be rescheduled when you are able. Please cancel with at least 24 hours notice to avoid penalty. There will be no exceptions to this new policy. While some of you may disagree, I can only hope that we have a chance to catch up somewhere down the line when masks are a distant and mildly inconvenient memory.
