In my video, I mentioned Agoria.
For those of you that don't know about Agoria, check out their site below.
Clint and I pick up our weekly bag on Sunday between 2-5 PM. Each week we get local, seasonal veggies, tubers, mushrooms, sprouts, fruit, etc.
When we make dinner we first ask, "What's our protein?" Tofu, eggs, chicken, beef: all local (I get those from the market at the Petersburg Library, along with my keifer and other things).
Then we pull out all the greens and whatnot from the weekly Agoria haul and cook it up.
Nearly everything we cook is in done in a wok (because that's how I grew up) except the mushrooms that get sauteed in a small pan.
For the past couple of weeks, the bag has had blueberries, so we toss them, and local peaches, on our breakfast oatmeal.
---Also, I tossed blueberries in with my sauteed kale and stirfry chicken the other night. The blueberries mixed with the Fly By Jing hotsauce we put on nearly everything was delicious.
This is just my PSA for Agoria's CSA (community supported agriculture).
The owners of Agoria are working to build a bigger market space. Next time you drive past the YMCA, look for their colorfully painted building! Really, you can't miss it, you just didn't know what it was.
And now you do. Support a local small business. Check out Agoria.
They supported my wine shop. We support their market. Also, they're great people with delightful little kids. It warms my heart to be around the next generation who are working hard to do good and great things.

Burgundie's Place Last Brick & Mortar Newsletter
Hi Everyone, If you're reading this, thank you for sticking with me to the end. I usually give new things 3 months, but when you know it's done, end it. To reiterate what I said in my recent social media post: I'll be out of the space before the... Last Brick & Mortar Newsletter
For the curious and concerned.
The bar is gone.
The windows are bare.
The energy in the space has changed.
I am letting go.
I'll send one last newsletter with more details but I'll be out before the end of July.
I'm open to suggestions as to what to do with all the books.
Hi everyone!
A new tenant has been found for my space so everything but yoga and Thai Massage will be cancelled. (Yoga and massage don't require furniture or books). Anyone registered for those events will be refunded.
I'm going to be sifting through all the stuff that needs to not come home with me and will post stuff that I'll be selling.
If anyone has artwork, furniture they loaned me, or books they brought in that they need to pick up, please message me.
I will be out of town for a few days coming up, but otherwise, I'll be slamming and jamming to get the space cleared out by August 1st.
Lol, I love bees 🐝 but this guy was a helicopter.
Anyway.
I'm fine.
"We're fine. We're all fine here, now. Thank you. How are you?" Han Solo
There are exciting things coming. I can feel it. I'm letting go of the studio so I can be ready for it.
I'll keep you posted as I learn more about where I'll do Thai massage and classes, and the virtual platform.
