We thought these posts would be helpful in educating our clients coming into our next busy season servicing your lovely horses & partners: 💕
When you book an equine therapy session, you’re investing in so much more than the time your horse is physically being worked on.
Behind every appointment are hours of travel, vehicle expenses, professional equipment, cleaning and sanitizing, assessments, session notes, communication, continued education, & careful planning tailored to your horse’s individual needs.
Providing professional, therapeutic care means continually investing in knowledge, quality tools, specialized training, and the ability to recognize what each horse is communicating through their body. Every session is approached with intention; not simply to make a horse feel good for the moment, but to support comfort, mobility, recovery, and long term performance.
Thank you to every owner who trusts Limitless Performance Equine Therapy to be part of their horse’s care team.
Your support allows me to continue doing work I truly love. ❤️
This horse was so fun!!!
Don’t forget, we’re running a special in September to get on the books! Send us a message 😍

✨One of the new therapies being offered!
Equine Cupping | Muscle Decompression
Cupping is a gentle therapy that uses suction to lift the skin and underlying tissues, helping create space and reduce tension in tight, overworked muscles.
✨ Potential benefits include:
• Increased circulation to the treated area
• Reduced muscle tension and soreness
• Improved tissue mobility
• Support for recovery after exercise
• Relaxation of tight, fatigued muscles
• May help improve overall comfort and range of motion
Think of it as “lifting” the tissue instead of compressing it, therefore giving tight muscles and fascia a chance to relax and move more freely.
This is a great addition to any body work session!

Training • Therapy • Conditioning
🤝🏼 Why do we love to pair massage with our conditioning program?
⭐️Upon your horses arrival, we start with an assessment- this gives us a good baseline of where your horse’s areas of tension may be, where your horse may have atrophy/ abnormal conformation of muscle, or may be compensating. We also look at an initial exam of biomechanics and range of motion.
⭐️ By week 2, we start to see more tension from the water tread work outs, mainly in the shoulders, pecs, lumbar, & hamstrings. These are the major muscle groups that contribute to the horse’s propulsion through the water. This is a result of a “different” type of work out than the animal is used to (like hitting the gym for a week with higher intensity than you’re used to).
*How bad do you want to relieve muscle tension after your first week back in the gym? 😌Same goes for your horse.
⭐️ By week 3, we are starting to see muscle take shape, we are loosening up that tension, targeting inflamed areas through massage, cupping, red light therapy, PEMF/ BEMER. We are even enhancing that range of motion through stretching and facia break down. Your horse is starting to feel the results of good conditioning and body work.
⭐️ By week 4, your horse has made an almost 180 from where they have started. Muscles are developing nicely, facia is much more supple, tension is lower from where we started- range of motion has increased and overall, your horse’s muscles have stayed relaxed and supple during 4 weeks of intense workouts because weekly body work, PEMF, and potentially other modalities were added, giving your horse the opportunity to build strength and correct compensation patterns without the muscle tension- keeping your horse much more comfortable during their stay. This especially goes for rehab cases when we are being very mindful of balance and reconditioning the muscles/ soft tissue structures!
▪️Body work and conditioning are not a “one size fits all” program. Every horse requires a different approach.
▪️Nutrition matters 👏🏼 👏🏼
If your horse is not receiving the proper nutrition they need, you will NOT see great results from conditioning.
▪️Proper vet work is important. Get a good vet you trust, not a cow vet.. a real, thorough, performance vet. Comb through your horse, invest in your athletes. This will make a huge difference in performance, maintenance and our ability to bring your horse back properly.
