This year we have a goal of raising $300 to buy gifts for our Adopted Family. Hey everybody!👋🏽 I haven't posted on this page in a minute!!😂 But I will try to post here more often to keep the page active so it doesn't get shut down or stolen!😄 So for those who have wondered if I'm still doing hair.....the answer is YES! I never stopped 😄 I'm just not taking new clients, but we have a bunch of EXTREMELY talented ladies at A New Image Salon Studios who are happy to service you if I can't get you.😊 I will continue to service my Healthy Hair members for a while so yes I am STILL doing hair! Don't have any plans on stopping anytime soon!!😂 I'm just doing a WHOLE LOT of other things as well.😊 So if I'm not currently doing your hair, unfortunately, I can't put you on my schedule, I don't have any room to add any more clients. 😔

I LOVE IT when my Clients/Family/Friends choose me to do their hair for those Special Occasions!❤ My client wanted a quick and easy style to show off her natural hair. I recommended she color her hair and rock this CUTE style done with the sponge technique.
She tells me EVERYBODY LOVES her hair, and that it took 15 years off her age!😍 These are the pics she sent me.❤

A feel good mini story (Please read )😊

So I am currently not taking on new clients because it is hard enough to get all of my current clientele in due to the 1 client at a time pandemic rule. Where I used to do 8-10 clients per day, I'm now able to only do 3-4. Inorder to ensure that my Healthy Hair members are able to get their weekly or biweekly treatments, I've stopped taking new clients.

Now that being said, a lady called me about a month ago and tells me another stylist recommended she come see me due to her thinning hair. The stylist didn't know what else to do to help this client and gave her my #. When the client called me I explained that I couldn't take on any new clients. I heard the disappointment in her voice and said to myself, ok Foluke, you can take this one client, just this ONE! I told her I would do her hair but I couldn't get her til the following month, she happily agreed to wait.😊

Her appt day finally arrived last week. Alopecia and thinning hair can occur for many different reasons. Sometimes we're able to grow the hair back and other times we're not. With this particular client it was hereditary so the only option I can offer her in the salon is deep conditioning treatments to help strengthen the hair she still has, in hopes of slowing down the progression of her thinning hair and to offer hair extensions.

I braided her hair, sewed a net to the braids to help hold the weave extensions, than sewed the extensions to the net. I than custom cut the weave to compliment her face. Below is a picture of the finished results. She was so happy that she could shake her hair once again.😊 ❤

We talked throughout the whole appt and I found out she was a fellow UT grad, go Longhorns!🤘🏽 I enjoyed the time with her and was very happy I decided to take on just one more client, reminding me of why I do what I do.

As beauty professionals, we DON'T just do hair, makeup, nails, etc... we help improve the quality of life for many people. I LOVE MY JOB, and I LOVE ALL MY PEOPLE in the BEAUTY INDUSTRY!!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
