This is eczema in the scalp. It can get this bad but if treated properly it wouldn’t appear. Make sure your scalp doesn’t get built up dandruff. It can make you scalp itch and you’ll want to scratch it terribly. Make sure you don’t get to that point. You can accidentally leave scabs in your head. Scratch the dandruff off with a good comb lightly dry or wet. Afterwards moisturize the scalp so it’s not dry. I try to do it after a wash before i blow dry, after taking out braids or after a style before a wash. I’m not completely sure if I have this type. I do have dry scalp and get dandruff at times which is normal. If braids are too tight or a style, fluid bumps will appear in my scalp in that area. They are painful. If they pop or you pop it don’t continue to pick it. Oil it & it’ll go away.

This type of eczema is interesting to me & severe. Since I was a child I used to wonder if something was wrong with the bottom half of my legs. Any time I walked too long or too heavy, my legs would hurt around my bone area & once I was done I would have bruising. Never told anyone so it was a me thing. As I got older it got worse. When I mean worse I mean my legs would breakout & around my feet. I have ALWAYS been trying to control them the most. Dermatologist prescribed me a topical steroid that I couldn’t over use for 2wks at a time. It was like magic I loved it !! Til I over used it & it made my skin fragile on my legs & feet. When I made the body butter it gradually helped my skin in a feeling that’s really indescribable, but amazing! I did have a Stasis Dermatitis breakout in Nov 2021. Majority of my skin is healed. I don’t mind showing people whose interested of what it looks like on me.

Some of our allergies change as we get order. We won’t notice til an outbreak happens. If you’re allergic to any metals or insects please be mindful what things your around. The smallest things such as atmosphere can trigger you. Down to money you handle and items you buy.

I wanted to inform everyone when I talked about Atopic Dermatitis that some types of eczema can form from you having another. I didn’t want to confuse anyone at that time, so I decided to wait. Recently a few months ago I started to think my other types of eczema were mixing during breakouts. Just couldn’t figure out why. As I research I’m learning as I go and that’s when I noticed. I realized what I was thinking was true but it only happens when not taken care of properly. Some of these symptoms are similar within each other & that’s why they mix. The right skincare routine is important when you start to notice the dig in your skin. Don’t wait til it gets excruciating because cracked skin hurts & inflamed skin is very itchy. I had long nights of it believe me I couldn’t sleep.

This type may seem simple but it can get severe if not taken care properly. Please wear gloves when cleaning chemicals can be harsh. If you don’t have gloves please wash your hands every time your finished or start feeling your hands burning. Washing your hands too much can be harmful to your skin. Hairdressers do a lot of that due to their occupation, try to remember to moisturize your hands right after. Our hands being too dry even from water can make them crack. Skin is important & we do a lot with our hands, let’s make sure they feel good too!

This type of eczema is common in Women. Babies are also prone to get this type so please be observant. Scratching your hands or feet is way to make the symptoms happen, try your best to refrain from doing so. This happens to me & I want to inform everyone as much as I can. Anytime I feel a spot itching I instantly moisturize it instead of scratching. I keep a jar of body with me at all times. This can be for washing my hands, a dry spot, or if I start to itch. I tend to get dry faster than others.

This is a type of eczema that’s caused by a reaction of things. Everyone is different and some may not be allergic to anything on this list. I’m actually allergic to poisonous plants & also have seasonal allergies. My seasonal allergies does react through my skin if i don’t take my allergy medicine daily. Yes, mine goes hand and hand. Everyone isn’t the same so some people have different reactions to things. Keep note to how your body reacts to anything could be the littlest thing. It’s a signal to you!
