Hola Family đź’•
“Guard your heart above all else, for out of it flow the issues of life” (Proverbs 4:23). When we hear this verse, it can be tempting to think of someone we love who seems stuck in a cycle of mediocrity or hardship—someone whose struggles appear to be self-inflicted. It’s easy to see their challenges and think, “If only they would change.” But what does this have to do with me?
As children of God, we’re called to be vigilant, not just mindful, about how we view and judge others. I often find myself analyzing the situations of those around me, trying to understand what might be going on beneath the surface. But I’ve learned that it’s essential to push these thoughts aside before they turn into judgments. I don’t want to find myself trapped in a judgmental mindset toward anyone.
My father had a saying that helps me in these moments: “By the grace of God, there go I.” It reminds me that if someone else’s struggles seem worse than mine, it’s only by God’s grace and mercy that I’m not facing the same. This perspective keeps me grounded and helps me apply grace rather than judgment when I see others enduring trials.
I’ve realized that allowing myself to dwell on someone else’s trauma or drama can negatively affect me. Judgment can bring in negativity that I don’t want or need in my life. Instead, I choose to focus on God’s grace and mercy in my life, knowing that it’s His grace alone that sustains me.
So, when we face difficulties, let’s remember that God is working in us through those trials. Each challenge we encounter is shaping us, building our character, and deepening our hope in Him. And this hope, rooted in God’s unfailing love, will never disappoint us.
🚨 WARNING: Reading this will call your inner self to attention. You may not want to change but you will have to change after you read this, to the glory of God.
In a world filled with distractions and temptations, being aware is essential. Guarding your heart and mind against influences that can lead you astray from your faith is crucial. You must hold your ground and be on guard. The enemy is lurking, looking to kill, steal, and destroy.
There is a war for your focus and attention, so you must be ready and prepared to fight. If the enemy can get you to take your eyes off Jesus for just a moment and place them on your circumstances, he has you right where he wants you. In those moments you must stand firm. But what are you standing on?
Anything you’re standing on that’s not Jesus is sinking sand. It’s counterfeit. The only solid ground and immovable foundation is Him. Faith is your anchor. Be courageous, knowing that courage is not the absence of fear but the triumph over it.
Be strong, knowing that your strength is in Christ Jesus and when you feel weak, you can lean on Him. As you go about your day, be watchful of what you let influence you, and stand strong knowing that the God we serve is greater than any challenge you’ll ever face.
Father God, open my eyes to the ways of this world that are perishing right before us. Help me to stand strong on Your truths and direct my actions so that my life will bring glory to Your name. Remove the blinders from my eyes and allow me to see things as You do. Sharpen me and prepare me for battle knowing that I’m fully equipped and have everything I need to be victorious. In the mighty name of Jesus I pray, amen.

Confidence. That is always the lesson in my class.
This is how we do it.
Barbers: we do a lot more than stand in one spot and make money. Developing an understanding of the anatomy of the head, face and neck is a prerequisite for things like facial massage, or a 14-stroke shave.
