International asexuality day was first celebrated in 2021, and is dedicated to raising awareness and promoting all identities under the ace umbrella 🥳

Asexuality is defined as having little to no sexual attraction, and, like all sexualities, it is a spectrum. Some common identities under the ace umbrella include: greysexual, demisexual, aceflux, and so many more!

I celebrate today as a beautiful reminder that loving differently does not mean you’re broken, a sentiment I struggled with for years until finding the ace community.

To everyone in the LGBTQIA+ community, be it out and proud or still finding your way, know your feelings are valid and there is a community waiting for you with open arms whenever you need them 💜

Last weekend, I had the absolute PLEASURE of assisting and attending the as they put on an incredible production!

I admittedly had had a pretty rough week, so catching up with friends both old and new really helped lift my spirits.

you truly put on an amazing show. You should be immensely proud 💖 not to mention, you and were flawless emcees!! I’m so happy we got to catch up a little 💖

Also, shoutout to our lil “Super Bowl huddle” that organically became a whole crowd of friends all because you weren’t about to let a friend with sore feet sit on the floor alone. You’re real ones for that and my favorite people on this planet 💜

And congratulations to our newest members of the Miss PA class of 2024!!! Proud is the understatement of the century for how I feel for all of your crowning moments. Your crowning moments admittedly showed me how dehydrated I was because I cried with joy until the tears literally stopped running 😅🤣 you are all going to have an amazing year and I can’t wait to see all that you achieve 💜

Valentine’s Day is one of the days I like to look myself in the mirror and celebrate the hard work I’ve put into finding self love and acceptance, and how that has stemmed into lasting relationships with people who like the real me.

I may have taken some creative liberties years ago, but I have always celebrated this day by embracing ALL forms of love! My family started a tradition of my dad giving my sister and me a rose each Valentine’s Day to celebrate familial love. From there, it kind of stuck with me and now I like to take this day to think of all the people I love in my life, be it familial, platonic, romantic, or self love❤️

So tonight, I’m taking a much needed self care night filled with self love. I’ve cooked myself a lovely meal, and now I’m curled up with a book, chocolate strawberries and some chocolates truffles☺️

So, from the bottom of my lil asexual heart: Happy Valentine’s Day. Remember there are more kinds of love than just romantic and you are loved more than you know 🖤🩶🤍💜

Last week I had the absolute honor of cheering on my friends as they competed for the titles of Miss Lancaster County, Miss Red Rose City, and Miss Heart of Lancaster❤️

It was so lovely catching up with everyone from our Belles, to contestants, to sister queens, and to directors. This community truly is my everything ❤️

However, as usual, I got so excited for my friends that I became their official paparazzi and in doing so forgot to take photos with our newest titleholders. Whoops 😅 Hugs ✅ Actually taking a photo together? ❌ so shoutout to the amazing people who took and shared these pictures with me ❤️

Just a little yoga before bed to keep my nerves at bay tomorrow and manifest good things ☺️

I flew all the way to Orlando, FL just to go to…. Independence Hall? 🤔

It’s true what they say: you can take the girl out of Philly, but you can’t take the Philly out of the girl🤷🏼‍♀️

When working at Disney World, I frequented two places whenever I felt homesick: the America pavilion in EPCOT and the Boardwalk Inn.

I felt right at home next to the building pictured above. It’s designed with inspiration from Independence Hall, a place I had the honor of performing in front of each Fourth of July in high school.

I also spent many hours at the Boardwalk Inn which is designed with inspiration from Cape May. You can even find a tiny Lucy the Elephant there!

I was always so thankful for these tiny pieces of home when I was far away from where I grew up💜
