We get this question a lot — especially from skeptics (we love you too 😆)
“Does this actually work? Or is it just another gadget?”
Fair question. Here’s exactly what’s happening every time you use The Leona 2.0:
Red light. Blue light. Microcurrent vibration. Fenugreek seed. 🧬
Four technologies. One device. And it won’t disrupt your style — locs, twists, fro, protective styles. The Leona works with your hair, not against it.
🔴 Red light therapy — dormant follicles waking up
🔵 Blue light therapy — strands getting thicker and fuller
〰️ Microcurrent vibration — blood flow and circulation increasing
🌿 Fenugreek seed — thickens individual strands, keeps hair in the anagen/growth faze longer, reinvigorates dormant follicles
At the same time. Every session. The first scalp stimulator designed for curly hair.

On my journey to waist length hair, henna and amla are amazing for my type 4 curls. The challenging part is rinsing it out. I noticed that when I used a conditioner that was very fatty like our Shine & Moisture Mask, it captured some of the henna I had missed in the shampoo process.
If you’ve done a henna mask before, what tips do you have for rinsing it out all the way? I was thinking about adding marshmallow root powder for some extra slip?
Products used:
Shine & Moisture Mask | açaí + guava + aloe
Strengthening Henna
organic amla, hibiscus, aloe leaf powders
I don’t think we talk enough about the benefits of henna in achieving super long natural hair. I’m on my road to waist length journey, and henna and amla masks are some of my favorite to fortify my strands. It’s been years since my last one and I’m way over due.
Products used:
strengthening henna
organic aloe vera, amla, hibiscus powders
green tea (2 packets)
Length Retention Lab is here! I can’t believe I get the honor of hosting 8 special guests tomorrow in our studio. 🤩
We’ve been setting up all week to get ready for our twistout demo and get to the root of what’s standing between you and healthy curls.
Having Fomo? There are 2 more dates for Length Retention Lab, but they’re filling up fast!
June 27th and July 18th both Saturdays from 11-1:30p

My mistake is your gain! 😅 June 27th is a Saturday. I’m hoping that you can make it now that it’s not randomly on a Thursday. What is Length Retention Lab?
The May 16th Length Retention Lab sold out — and we’re back with two more sessions. This hands-on workshop is built for naturals who are done guessing and ready to actually see growth. We’ll cover the real stuff: breakage and shedding, moisture and sealing, washday habits that make a difference, protective styling, and how to build a routine you’ll realistically stick to. You’ll leave with practical tips, product guidance, and a personalized routine strategy made for your curls. Join us Saturday, June 27 or July 18 at Haiama Studios in Philadelphia’s BOK Building — spots are limited, so grab yours before they’re gone.
