Most braiding hair we use is coated with alkaline base which can trigger a reaction in many people. This can be avoided by pre-treating the hair with a simple solution. Apple cider vinegar lifts the alkaline base from the hair. Mix warm water with Apple cider vinegar and soak the hair for 30 minutes.
