Better TWOgether: because yoga is better with a friend 👯
This October, we’re giving you a reason to bring someone you love to Maha. 🤗
Buy an Intro Pass, and we’ll hook up one of your friends with a free Intro Pass, too. 🎉
That means you both get to experience maHA together—because everything is a little better when you have someone to practice with.
Here’s how it works:
✅ Purchase an Intro Pass anytime in October.
⭐️ Within 3 days of your purchase, send us your friend’s first name, last name, phone number, and email. We’ll set them up with a complimentary Intro Pass.
🍂 You and your friend need to start your passes by Halloween (October 31).
➡️ *The passes must be used at the same time. *For new clients only.
Already bought an Intro Pass this month? You’re included, too! Just send us your friend’s info within 3 days of your original purchase. 💫
Grab your person and come practice together. 🧡

Fresh for Fall 🍂
➡️ Fall is here, and we’ve got a few changes we want to share with you!
A few fall schedule highlights:🧘 maHA Flow with Jordyn on Tuesday evenings
💪 maHA Mobility with Alan on Tuesdays evenings
🔥 Functional Flow with Justicia on Wednesday evenings
A note about my name, JusticiaYou may also notice a change on the schedule: I have been shifting back to my birth name, Christina. It's something I've been doing in my personal life for a few years, and I kept putting off making the change professionally.
“Justicia” is a nickname given to me in my 20s, and it was a name that fit at the time and that I will always love. In my own personal season of change over the past few years, it has felt really nice to come back home to my birth name.
So, when you see Christina on the schedule, just know—it’s the same ol' me, and the same ol' yoga ❤️ ... just changed a bit by perimenopause and the seasons of life that change us all.
I'm excited for these fall schedule changes and all the good movement, practice, and community ahead.
See you on the mat! 💫

A new chapter at Maha 📚☺️
When Maha started 14 years ago (!!), yoga was the center of everything we did. While asana is still a huge part of Maha, over the years our work has expanded to include mobility, functional movement, anatomy, strength, and what we like to call literacy in movement: understanding your body well enough to make informed choices about how you move.
So we’re updating our brand to better reflect the Maha that exists today. 💫
Because we believe a brand that can evolve is sustainable. One that has to stay frozen in its original form is fragile.
You’ll start seeing these changes show up in a few ways:
⭐️ Our name and lookWe have a new lowercase logo, new colors, and a refreshed visual identity. Maha has been our name since long before the acronym became associated with RFK Jr. While the similarity is purely coincidental, we felt it was important to make a clear distinction. Our values are—and have always been—rooted in evidence-based movement, inclusivity, accessibility, and support for universal healthcare.
💻 Letting go of livestreamLivestream was incredibly useful at a particular moment in time. But we’ve reached a point where we want to put our energy into the thing we do best: being together in the studio, moving, learning, and building community IRL.
⭐️ Phasing out the video library
Same idea-- the library served a purpose, but it no longer feels like the best representation of what Maha is about. We’d rather focus on creating meaningful, in-person experiences than trying to be everything to everyone online.
🗓️ Class registration through FitDegree AppWe’ll be moving toward using the FD app more fully for schedules, registration, and studio information. More on that soon!
At the heart of all of this is a simple idea: Maha isn’t just a yoga studio anymore. It’s a movement studio built around yoga, mobility, strength, progressive values and community. We want our brand—and the way we operate—to reflect that.
Thanks for growing with us. 🌱
