Sometimes we might not completely feel ourselves and just aren't able to pinpoint what's going on. It's a good idea to check and see if you are getting enough water. Most of us are aware of the more commonly discussed signs of dehydration like dry mouth, increased thirst, decreased and darker urine, and decreased elasticity of the skin. There are other less obvious signs of dehydration too as listed above.

Research suggests that there is a healthy range of water intake calculated based on a person's weight. To calculate how much water you should be getting in a day take your weight in pounds and divide by 2. That number in ounces is the minimum water you should be getting in a day. The upper limit is your weight in ounces. For example if a person weighs 150 lbs they should be getting between 75 and 150 oz of water a day. If they are more active then they should be drinking closer to the upper limit.

Some tips that work for me to help me get my daily dose of hydration are to carry a bottle of water with me at all times, eat foods with a high water content such as fruits and veggies, and to add different flavors or ingredients to my water to make it more tasteful. Some of the things I like to add to my water are ice, lemon juice, mint leaves, fruits, cinnamon powder or apple cider vinegar 😋. I know some people like to add sparkling water too!

Swipe next to see which water bottle I use. It's a 32 oz stainless steel insulated bottle by . I love it because it can carry so much water and it keeps it cool for me 🥶☺️. I found it on .

Share down below any tips you have to drink more water or what you add to your water to make it more exciting!
