You don’t have to host an event to make an impact. 🙌
Sometimes, making a connection is as simple as sitting down and sharing your story.
💬 Answer a few questions.
👩⚕️ Talk about your career.
🔎 Let young people ask, “What do you actually do?”
💡 Share what inspired you to pursue healthcare.
These group interviews are a great example of how a Connection can help young people explore careers—without having to plan or host a full event.
You bring your experience. We help bring the audience. 💫

15 Years Later
Some collaborations become part of your story—and some become part of your legacy. 💙
15 years ago, we worked together on a project that introduced young people to the world of movement, health, and physical therapy. Today, we’re standing together, looking back on where it started.
These photos are a reminder that sometimes you don’t realize how meaningful a moment is until you look back years later.
15 years. One vision. Still in motion. 🦴✨

There’s something special about connecting with Girl Scout volunteer leaders. 💚
I know firsthand the impact they can have—my mom was my Girl Scout troop leader and my sister’s too! Their dedication creates opportunities for girls to learn, explore, and discover what’s possible.
I’m grateful to now connect with leaders and help bring more experiences in health, movement, and careers to their troops. ✨

15 years ago, a simple idea began: help young people understand their bodies, health, and the power of movement. What started as a passion project became Explore the Magic of Motion®.
Troop leaders—looking for your next meaningful troop experience? 💚
Explore how Explore the Magic of Motion® helps girls discover the connection between movement, health, confidence, and their future. Through hands-on activities, girls explore how their bodies work, the importance of healthy habits, and the many possibilities within healthcare careers.
✨Tag a troop leader, Girl Scout council, or service unit that would love to bring this experience to their girls! ✨
Healthcare can feel intimidating — especially when you don’t understand what is happening. That’s why I created activities that turn health education into exploration.
✨Tag a troop leader who loves hands-on learning!✨

✨From Girl Scout Values to Community Impact ✨
One of the most meaningful parts of my Girl Scout journey has been seeing how the lessons I learned as a young Girl Scout continue to shape the way I serve today. Those lessons became the foundation for Explore the Magic of Motion®—a program created to help girls recognize the connection between movement, health, confidence, and their ability to make a difference in the world.
The awards I earned—Bronze, Silver, and Gold—taught me how to identify challenges, take action, and create meaningful change. Being recognized as a Girl Scout of Distinction showed me the power of mentorship and the importance of investing in others.
Years later, receiving a Good Neighbor Award and being invited to serve on a Women of Vision panel felt like coming full circle. The same values Girl Scouts instilled in me—service, leadership, empathy, and bringing people together—continue to guide my work in creating stronger, more connected communities.
From earning awards as a Girl Scout to helping celebrate and support the achievements of others, I’m grateful for an organization that helped me discover my voice and my purpose. 💚

As a lifelong Girl Scout and physical therapist, one thing I'll never forget from the Girl Scout convention was how it brought back deja vu from a physical therapy conference I attended as a student.
Whether is being known for "cookies" or "massage", it made me reflect on how both Girl Scouts and physical therapy are often introduced through one familiar idea—but the more you learn, the more you realize how much they have to offer.

Find mentors. Become one.
The people who guide us change throughout our lives.
My journey began with incredible Girl Scout mentors who taught me the value of leadership, service, and confidence. As my career grew, I found new mentors in colleagues, professors, business advisors, and professionals who challenged me to think bigger and continue learning.
Today, I'm grateful for the opportunity to give back by mentoring students in the clinic and supporting colleagues as they grow in their own careers.
Who helped guide your journey? Give a shout-out to a mentor who made a difference. And if you're in a position to do so, consider how you can be that mentor for someone else.
Your network matters.
Relationships open doors.
When I look back on my journey, I realize that many of the opportunities I've had didn't come from submitting an application or having the perfect résumé. They came through people.
Classmates who became lifelong friends and collaborators. Professors and colleagues who mentioned my name in rooms I wasn't in and created opportunities I may never have known about otherwise. Students who taught me new perspectives. Mentors who believed in me before I fully believed in myself. Networking isn't just about collecting contacts.
Every conversation, connection, and relationship has helped shape my personal and professional journey. You never know which relationship may change the direction of your life.
