It’s Come that time…
In 1976 I started Beauty School, it’s now 46 years later and I’m putting the color and shears away. I definitely picked the job for me. I have enjoyed every minute of doing hair and the people I call my friends. My back has been asking me to listen, and I’m listening.
Those of you who really know me know ….I’m no quitter!!!
Of course I have another job. We are opening a Trucking Company named after my Father, who drove truck for 41 years. I’m sure he’s up in heaven smiling.
I won’t be standing, but I’ll still be bossy!
I want to thank everyone I ever touched or made their life or day a little better. That was my goal.
Come September, just days before my 64th birthday, I won’t be ,” Leslie the Hairdresser” anymore.
I wish you all everything life has to offer, and please, “always leave things better than you found them. “ That’s always been a goal of mine.
It’s very bittersweet for me to stop something I love so much, it was a good run! There’s a saying, “ If you’re doing what you love, it isn’t work”.
Now, a new chapter to explore. Thank you from my heart.❤️

Coming Tuesday the dreaded Heritage Days comes to Front St.
It impedes our business and causes havoc with parking. We have our own private parking for the Finberg Building.
You will come down Second St. Cross over Pine. Where it says ,” DO NOT ENTER”, YOU ENTER… drive toward Front St. And park anywhere.
The parking lot will be monitored.
All Vendors and unauthorized vehicles will be TOWED! These spaces are for the businesses of the FINBERG BUILDING ONLY!
I had to repost this … Sam texted me I had the wrong building. LOL
PS :we don’t need anyone telling us boo hoo on Heritage Days. We lose money and the parking is a nightmare. Next week we will be doing hair and being the parking police. We have constant cancellations because people can’t find parking. Someone on the earlier post made a comment about all the exposure the businesses get LOL
The vendors block the stores , no one walks on the sidewalks… they walk on the streets. My beef is the parking for our customers that we value.
You go to work and not get paid, call us Saturday and let us know how you like it!
