Makena is a dedicated therapist at our North Phoenix location, supporting pediatric patients with a variety of speech, language, and feeding challenges. She has been with us since August of 2024 and will be completing her clinical fellowship year at the end of April!

She specializes in working with children who have complex communication needs, including those who benefit from AAC and our Gestalt Language Processors.

Understanding that communication is not one-size-fits-all, Makena meets each child where they are, tailoring her approach to their unique needs.

In addition to speech and language therapy, Makena provides feeding therapy for children with restrictive eating habits and infants struggling with oral motor delays. She is also in the process of completing a specialized certification that will allow her to support medically fragile infants with bottle feeding, transitioning to solids, and NG/G-tube weaning.

Join our small, but growing pediatric private practice in North Phoenix! We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team. In this role, you will provide speech and feeding therapy services to a diverse pediatric population, with an emphasis on individualized care. We are dedicated to creating a supportive and flexible work environment that prioritizes both clinician and patient needs.

Therapy Services: Deliver both speech and feeding therapy. While feeding therapy experience is highly preferred, it is not required.

Hours: Start with approximately 15 hours per week, with the potential to grow to full-time (by mid-August) if desired.

Work Environment: Sessions are conducted in-office or via telehealth. We currently offer 3.5 hours of telehealth per week, which will increase to around 8 hours per week in August with a new virtual school contract. Telehealth sessions can be done remotely.

Session Lengths: Sessions vary between 30, 35, 40, and 45 minutes, tailored to the needs of each child.

Compensation and Benefits:
Hourly Rate: $55-$63, depending on experience.
Productivity Rate: 75%, with compensation for both direct and indirect time at the same rate.
No-Show Policy: Full hourly rate paid for no-shows.
Documentation: Utilize a fully integrated EMR system for streamlined documentation.
Support and Flexibility: We offer a flexible work environment and provide support as needed to help you balance your professional and personal life.

**If full time is desired (30 hours direct/10 indirect) full benefits offered. Health insurance, 40 hours PTO, 40 hours STO and 9 paid holidays.**
