I think we often forget about where we started
We are so focused on how far we have to go to get to our next step phase chapter that we don’t look back and be like wait I did all that to get here
Weather it’s our health journey
Our career
Our relationships
We need to stop and celebrate all the milestones not just the big ones
So many that walk through have hit so many brick walls before coming through our doors
that they often don’t realize how much they have learned about themselves along the way
So much growth has happened for them by the time the arrive
This was in loving memory of Danielle Williams
Thank you Clarita | Personalized Wellness + Genetic Testing for adding these cards at random it’s exactly the card I needed that day
Thank you Jam Gamble • Vocal Transformation + Public Speaking Coach for the vocal reset and handing me the mic 🎤
🦋 We’ve got a new toy at Lymph Rehab!
Meet our new lymph scanner just arrived and fresh out of the box 📦
I remember the moment I saw this device at the Power Lymphatic Conference in March. I knew right then I had to have it.
Months of waiting later, it’s finally here.
I haven’t even learned how to use it yet, but I couldn’t wait to share the unboxing with you.
I’m so excited about what this is going to make possible. It measures tissue fluid levels, which means it can pick up on swelling that’s there but not always visible, the kind you can feel but can’t quite see. It also gives survivors a number to hold onto for reassurance, something concrete instead of just a feeling.
And for tracking reduction over time, this is going to be huge. Most people feel the change in their body as swelling goes down, but not everyone does. This device will be able to show that progress even when it’s hard to feel it.
Growth never stops around here 💚 I’ll keep you posted as I learn the ropes!
THIS IS WHY. THRIVER STORY 03
Last year at Brunch with a Purpose, four women shared what it meant to come through the THRIVER Program. Today, I want you to meet Jessica.
She couldn't be there in person, but she still wanted her story shared. She talked about fighting for her health, fighting to feel normal again, and how lymphatic massage became a huge part of her healing.
As someone who has walked this journey myself, I know how much it can mean to have someone say, you don't have to navigate this alone.
That is why I created the THRIVER Program.
To create access to lymphatic care, education, and support for women navigating life after breast cancer.
Jessica shared her story with us last year, and since then, nearly 35 more women have come through the program.
Every woman has her own story.
But together, they remind me why this work matters so much.
This is our why. 🤍
And this is why we gather for Brunch with a Purpose.
Over the next few weeks, I'll be sharing the stories of the other women who stood beside us last year.

We sit at a desk desk 💻 in front of a tv 📺 in the car 🚙
That our back and spine aren’t doing much moving around
We forget that wiggling around and moving the spine is a thing we need
Also we have lymph nodes down our spine so these simple moves help open them up and let the lymphatic system flow
I’ve been adding more of the
Spine twist
Cat Cow
Side bends
Wiggles 🤣😉😊
into my day and loving it 🥰
I’m not talking about the mental and emotional aftermath of being a single woman and mother in my 30s, losing my hair and my breasts. That’s a whole other story.
This is about what was physically happening inside my body that I could feel.
After chemo, radiation, a double mastectomy, reconstruction and having four lymph nodes removed, my body had been through a lot. My lymphatic system was disrupted. Scar tissue formed. Radiation came in and, in a way, baked everything even further.
And my body started talking.
There were signs I didn’t know how to listen to before cancer. But this time, I listened.
I advocated for myself. I mentioned the changes at appointment after appointment. And after months of speaking up, I finally received the care I needed for my lymphatic system and was able to address the early stages of lymphedema.
I didn’t know what to look for before.
Now I do.
Our bodies are always talking to us.
We just have to learn how to listen. 🤍
When the space will be closed for a few days,
I like to give it a little reset and rest, too. 🤍
This space holds so much
the energy we bring in as we step through the door,
the emotions we release during a session,
and all the moments in between
So I open the curtains, let the sunlight in,
and fill the room with a little sound.
Because just like us, this space needs a little Vitamin D, a little reset, and a little care, too. ☀️✨
So that what we release can stay here on the table.
We don’t always have to carry it with us when we leave.
THIS IS WHY. THRIVER STORY 02
Last year at Brunch with a Purpose, four women shared what it meant to come through the THRIVER Program. Today, I want you to meet Melissa.
She told a room full of strangers that scars hold energy. That healing meant more than just surviving.

POV: You discover lymphatic facial massage and suddenly every mirror is an opportunity. 😂
There’s something about learning how to support your lymphatic system that makes you start noticing your face, your body, and all the little ways you can incorporate lymphatic movement into your everyday routine.
And yes… sometimes you catch yourself checking the results in every mirror. 😉
Twist & shout… or at least twist & breathe. 😉
Sometimes we forget that our spine needs to bend, twist, and wiggle about!
These simple movements are a great way to bring some mobility back into the spine while using movement and breath to support lymphatic flow.
So go ahead… twist a little. Breathe a little. Let your body move. ✨
Everyone kept telling me I was brave. I was strong. I “had this.” 🦋
What no one told me is that the hardest part wasn’t the chemo, the port, or losing my hair.
It was after.
When the appointments slowed down and I was supposed to just go back to normal, except my body didn’t feel like mine anymore.
My mind was playing games I wasn’t prepared for.
And nobody hands you a manual for that part.
That’s when I started paying attention.
Really listening. Reassessing everything, my stress, my diet, the way I moved through the world.
My body had been talking to me the whole time. I just hadn’t learned the language yet.
That listening is what became Lymph Rehab. Not because I set out to build a nonprofit,
but because I couldn’t unlearn what my body taught me, and I couldn’t keep it to myself once I knew it.
If you’ve ever felt disconnected from your own body, this is your reminder that it’s not too late to start listening. 💚
