Would you believe me if I told you…
I picked my one and only son’s name… out of a hat? 😅

Let me set the scene…

We’re in the hospital.
The nurse keeps coming in like:
“Ma’am… you have to name your baby to leave.” 😬

The problem?
My husband and I could NOT agree.

He wanted Maximus (yes… like Gladiator 🙄)
I wanted Klaus (yes… vampire vibes 🖤)

Neither of us was backing down.

So what did we do?
We gambled. 😆

And listen—anyone who knows me KNOWS I hate gambling…
but that day? I felt lucky.

We didn’t even find out the gender beforehand…
and I had just been blessed with a SON 💙

So… we wrote both names down,
put them in a hat,
and had Jaydah pick.

Welp…
she pulled HIS name. 😅

Maximus it was.

(My Libra side accepted defeat ♎️😂)
BUT… I claimed Klaus for the middle name.

Now here’s the thing about middle names…
no one really uses them… unless you’re in trouble 😅

And I LOVED that name too much for that.

So I created something just for us 🤍

Since he was little, we’ve had a secret handshake—
3 squeezes.

I. Love. You.

Today… I made it permanent.

I got his middle name tattooed on my hand—
each letter placed where his little fingers fit perfectly within our squeezes.

He’s 9 right now…
but not for long.

In just a few weeks, he turns 10…
and my heart is NOT OK about it 😭

This is the last year he’ll ever be single digits.

He’s the sweetest boy.

If I’m ever sad…
he’ll squeeze my hand 3 times.

Sometimes randomly.
Sometimes in a 3 squeeze hug.

No one even notices.

It’s just ours 🥹
