This look is so beautiful and can easily be made into a bridal look, too. For a softer bridal style, we would use a little less white in the inner corners and add more defined curls instead of crimped waves.

Client concern: “I have photo trauma, and I really just want to look good in my headshots without looking overdone.” 🫶🏼

So, we kept her makeup soft and polished with matte eyeshadow and a natural-looking lash. We did use a fuller coverage foundation to create an even, photo-ready complexion that would hold up beautifully under professional lighting without feeling heavy in person.

For the hair, we went with loose curls and soft volume to give her movement and dimension while still keeping the overall look natural and effortless. Needless to say- she was very happy!

Trial vs. the wedding day 🤍

Our bride Lydia tested out an updo at her trial, but on her wedding day, she opted for a half-up style instead!

We find this tends to happen when you normally wear your hair down every day. You may not feel like yourself with all of your hair up and that’s totally okay! ✨

Changes between the trial and wedding day are completely normal. That’s exactly why we do trials! They give us the opportunity to try different looks, see what you love (and what you don’t), and make sure you feel like the very best version of yourself on your wedding day. 🤍
