The version of you that built your business isn't always the version that's meant to scale it.

For so many of us, the beginning was about survival. We wore every hat. We worked the long hours. We answered every message, solved every problem, and carried the weight of the business on our shoulders. We built what we have through hustle, resilience, determination, and sometimes complete chaos. And there's nothing wrong with that. It's something to be incredibly proud of.

But eventually, there comes a point where the habits that built your business start becoming the very thing holding it back.

I'm in that season right now.

I'm learning to let go of the version of myself that got me this far. Not because she wasn't enough, but because she did exactly what she was supposed to do. She built the foundation.

I'm being called to become a different kind of leader. One who builds systems instead of carrying everything herself. A leader who trusts her team instead of feeling like she has to do it all. A leader who protects her time instead of proving her worth by how much she can handle.

If you're feeling the tension between where you are and where you're trying to go, maybe it isn't your business that needs to change first. Maybe it's the version of you that's leading it.

Honor the person who built what you have. Be grateful for the hustle, the resilience, and everything it took to get here.

Then give yourself permission to become the leader your next level requires.

Elevation requires separation.

Some days I'm the artist. Some days I'm the educator. Both have completely changed my life, and I'm grateful to live in both worlds.

I love creating art, but watching students build confidence, learn a new skill, and take the first step toward a new career is just as rewarding. Being trusted to guide someone through that journey is something I never take for granted.
