Thanksgiving can feel different when you’re in the middle of healing.

You’re grateful, but you’re also navigating food triggers, inflammation, anxiety, and the pressure to “just eat and enjoy” when your body reacts in ways other people don’t understand.

If that’s you today, take a deep breath.
This isn’t how every holiday will feel.

Right now, you’re in a rebuilding season.
You’re giving your gut the space it needs to repair, calm inflammation, and reset your hormones and nervous system. You’re learning your body’s patterns, listening to its signals, and choosing foods that support peace instead of chaos.

And that won’t last forever.

There’s one antioxidant in your body that acts like the CEO of detox. Without it, toxins pile up, hormones don’t clear, and inflammation runs wild.

That antioxidant is glutathione. Your liver makes it, and every cell depends on it. And Tylenol depletes it!

Here’s why that matters:

You may have noticed something different about this page lately…
The health talk hasn’t gone anywhere, but God has taken center stage.
And I want to talk about that for a moment.

When I first started sharing here, I focused on what I knew: gut health, hormone balance, inflammation, and the physical side of healing.
But something shifted.
I couldn’t ignore the prompting anymore:
The body isn’t the only thing that needs healing.
And I believe God is the Master Healer the one who designed our bodies and still speaks healing over them today.

So yes, this page is still about wellness.
But now, I’m walking it out through a deeper lens, one that gives glory to God and opens the door for grace, rest, and Spirit-led healing.

I know that might feel surprising to some of you.
Some of you have messaged me saying, “It’s so refreshing to see faith again!”
Others may be quietly watching, wondering where this is headed.

So let me be clear:
This isn’t about religion.
This is about returning to the truth that you are fearfully and wonderfully made — and that no amount of supplements, diets, or detoxes can replace what only God can do through His love and mercy.

And in that spirit…
I want to share something I’ve been noticing in myself and others, especially those of us who were raised in strict religious systems:

When someone says, “Please pray for me,”
why does it sometimes feel easier to offer advice… than actual prayer?

Why do we feel pressure to say the “right thing” instead of simply saying,
“I’m here. I’m praying. You’re not alone.”

Many of us were trained to offer correction instead of comfort.
To give checklists instead of compassion.

But that’s not what Jesus modeled.

“I have prayed for you…” – Luke 22:32
“The Spirit intercedes for us…” – Romans 8:26
“Come to Me, all who are weary…” – Matthew 11:28

So I’m learning in health, in faith, in relationships; that healing is not another task to perform.
It’s an invitation to rest.
To receive.
To return to the One who heals body and soul.

This page might look a little different now.
But I promise it’s more aligned than ever.

Let’s Talk About the LOW FODMAP Diet... Who NEEDS to do it?

If you are experiencing the following Keep reading!

👉Bloating (especially after meals)
👉Excessive gas or belching
👉Abdominal pain or cramping
👉Alternating constipation and diarrhea (IBS-type symptoms)
👉Visible stomach distension (pregnant-looking belly)
👉Nausea, especially after eating certain foods
👉Fatigue or brain fog after meals
👉Undigested food in stool
👉Feeling full after just a few bites

The Low FODMAP diet is one of those tools that can bring BIG relief when your gut is inflamed, bloated, or reacting to everything.
But here’s the part that often gets missed 👇
It’s not meant to be a long-term solution.
It’s a therapeutic phase, not a lifestyle.
What it does is give your gut a break from fermentable carbs (those harder-to-digest foods that can trigger symptoms). This rest phase can calm your immune system, reduce bloating, and help bring some stability back to your digestion.
✨ BUT — and this is important —
If you’re not pairing it with a gut-healing protocol (like antimicrobial herbs, mucosal support, digestive support and nervous system work)... then all you’ve done is press pause, not heal.
I see so many women stuck on FODMAP long-term, afraid to reintroduce foods — because the root cause was never addressed.
👉 Use it as a season of rest, not restriction.
