It is with extremely heavy hearts that we share the passing of Judy, our beloved friend and Maureen’s team member of over 20 years.
Judy made us laugh every day, she could tell a story like no other and was the warm and welcome feeling that Maureen’s would come to be known for. Maureen used to joke that Judy was her best hire!
Judy was Miss Popularity, she knew everyone and loved to hear about their latest and greatest. We were so blessed to have had her and to know her. Her light hearted, fun and excitable spirit was perfect for our team and we can smile knowing the impression we all made on her as well. (She loved us dearly but was truly entertained by us creatives!) In Judy fashion, we kept her laughing too!
Thank you for the memories, the laughter and the love Judy. You will truly be missed by all of us Maureen’s girls! We celebrate your life and the special light you brought into this world and shared with us. Forever in our hearts. ❤️

We do in fact play with hair all day! 😉
People often ask what we learn in all the classes we continue to take. The easiest response is always “hair color or cutting or styling..” 🥰
In a nutshell, that is pretty accurate but truly in hair, our classes are deep diving into exactly how products work, what results clients are currently getting, mapping out exact placement of color, how some colors are more inky, rich or shallow, who is the best candidate for what and the list goes on.. We really get into it! 🤪💕
On this day we individually custom colored hair swatches to recreate hair inspo photos! 🤗
In the world of a hairstylist, there is no greater feeling than recreating thee perfect hair color! 🙌🏻🙌🏻
The tone, the placement, how sheer or opaque, the contrast, the blend.. there are so many things we look at to create and recreate. It is our art and we study it. 😍🥰
And as a big team we are so lucky to have so much fun collaborating and learning together!
Thank you Blake Reed Evans and Redken for visiting and bringing us the latest and greatest! 🙌🏻🤍
