Hey Ladies🤍 Don’t forget these 3 tips to keep your skin flawless & wax prepped.

•Tip 1
-Skincare is self care. Just as we don’t negotiate showering or cleansing our face, we can’t skip skincare on our body. Think of the importance of cleansing as brushing your teeth & moisturizing as flossing. See the importance?

•Tip 2
-Exfoliate at least 3x a week. I personally prefer every other day. Exfoliating is like the floss for our bodies. It removes lifeless dead skin cells which aids in the waxing process. Your hairs will come out smooth with minimal pain. Little to no hairs will need to be tweezed & it actually helps your wax last longer. Think of it like this, the hairs will grow to reach the surface regardless so giving them a seamless transition will minimize ingrown hairs & itching.

•Tip 3
-Moisturizing is key! Moisture is the hydration for our bodies externally not water. If you strip your skin while cleaning & don’t replenish the moisture it will become dehydrated. Using a daily moisturizer, morning + night will keep your skin soft & smooth. Your hairs will seamlessly come out of the skin’s surface & aid in less ingrown hairs/irritation. I know many of us were taught “ nothing goes down there” but that in-fact is not true. Remember that infection start within. Avoid using any type of product near your vaginal opening & you should avoid this problem.

-My personal body self care routine is
1. Cleanse your v***a with a preferred Ph balanced wash (avoid your vaginal opening).

2. Exfoliate but remember to avoid your vaginal opening to prevent infection. I exfoliate before cleaning my body so my body wash can work to it’s maximal potential. If you cleanse first then exfoliate you exfoliate off all your product.

3. Towel try 70%. I do not completely dry off because some water retention is good. I moisturize with a lightweight hyaluronic acid moisturizer to maximize moisture.

Extra credit: Every other day I use a vitamin c serum as well before moisturizing to help my skin’s appearance. It promotes collagen production, fades hyperpigmentation, & brightens the skin.
