I was finally able to snag a photo of Raya to post 🥳 Raya has been with Aloha Lash Girl part time for a few years now but has always commuted between the central coast and the Central Valley. She has finally settled in working full time at Aloha Lash Girl. She is working week days, evenings, and some weekends. Raya is a licensed esthetician and certified lash artist for 5 years. Shelby is the newest addition to Aloha Lash Girl. She will be starting in June and taking clients on Tuesday and Thursday. With 7 years of experience in the beauty industry we are excited for the new services shelby will be offering. Along with her flawless lash sets she will also be offering face and body waxing, as well at brow lamination 🙌🏼🥰 she is on our booking link and ready to start taking clients June 3rd.

Many of you already know Rachel, she has been with Aloha Lash Girl for 4 years. Rachel is a powerhouse in the beauty industry. From lashing, massage, and facials she knows the ins and outs of all things beauty. As the manager at Aloha she adds so much value and is here to help clients with any questions or concerns they may have. Rachel offers lash extensions, lash lift and tints, as well as all facial types, and my personal favorite chemical peels.

Hi everyone! It’s me Meleana Soderquist owner at Aloha Lash Girl in Pismo Beach. We have some new lash artist joining the team and I wanted to introduce you to everyone. Let’s start with me. I’ve been lashing on the central coast for 10 years and no I’m still not tired of it. Quite the opposite I’m obsessed with lashing. I was born in Hawaii where I grew up and moved to the central coast in 2008 with my husband who is a central coast local. Who works at Aloha Lash Girl?

I often get asked who works at Aloha Lash Girl? At the moment we have Meleana Soderquist owner at Aloha Lash Girl specializing in lash extensions, and Jet Plasma facial treatments with LED light therapy. Meleana has been lashing for almost 10 years and loving every minute of it. In addition, we have Rachel Reid a very talented, and skilled esthetician. Rachel has been with Aloha Lash Girl for 3 years and offers lash extensions, lash lifts & tints, along with facials, and chemical peels. You can connect with Rachel on instagram so go and follow her to see what she's up to. We also rent our 3rd room out for daily rental to other lash artist so if you know anyone interested send them our way.

Last but not least, down the walk way Jenessa at Honey and sage is our friendly neighbor. Jenessa is indepentent and does not work at Aloha but you probably have walked past her shop many times and may have even mistaken her for us. Jenessa offers lash extensions as well, and is very talented you can find her information on her front door.

1. Wash your lash extensions daily with a mild cleanser
2. Avoid oil base products around the eye area
3. Do not pick or pull your extensions
4. Brush Daily
5. Avoid sleeping on your face
6. Sleep with a silk pillow case
7. Have them filled every 2-3 weeks

Let's chat about lash extensions and the differences between classic, hybrid, and volume lash extensions. Classic lash extensions involve attaching a single lash extension to each natural lash, giving a natural and subtle look. Hybrid lash extensions are a mix of classic and volume lashes, creating a fuller and more textured look. Volume lash extensions involve attaching multiple ultra-fine lash extensions to each natural lash, giving a dramatic and voluminous effect. Last but not least one of my favorite styles is angel lashes or a.k.a the wet set. This style gives the most texture and the most wispy while staying on the natural side. Each lash extension technique offers a unique look and can be customized to suit your preferences.

Tips & Tricks

How to prepare for your lash appointment
First and foremost, it's important to double cleanse your lashes before coming in. This helps ensure that they're clean and free of any oils or debris, allowing our lash artists to work their magic more effectively. In addition, we recommend avoiding caffeinated beverages before your appointment. Caffeine can make your eyes twitchy or restless, which can make the lash application process a bit trickier. Also, don't forget to use the restroom before your appointment. This way, you'll be comfortable throughout the entire process. Lastly, we kindly ask that you silence your phone during your appointment to create a relaxing and peaceful environment for everyone.

How to properly care for your lashes
Avoid any water or steam for the first 24 hours after your lash appointment. This allows the lash adhesive to fully bond and set, ensuring the longevity of your beautiful lashes. Additionally, it's best to avoid rubbing or touching your lashes, as this can cause them to become loose or even fall out prematurely. Instead, gently pat your lashes dry if they get wet or damp. In terms of cleansing, we recommend using an oil-free cleanser specifically formulated for lash extensions to wash your lashes daily. Be sure to avoid any products that contain oil, as oil can weaken the lash adhesive. When removing makeup, use a gentle, oil-free makeup remover and avoid any cotton pads or swabs that may snag or pull on your lashes. Lastly, to maintain your lashes' shape and prevent any tangling, brush them daily with a clean spoolie wand. We hope you find these tips helpful in caring for your lashes!
