First, I want to give a huge thank you to Cat for asking me to be a part of something so special. This year, I made a promise to myself to only agree to projects that align with my work ethic and what matters to me personally, so it made sense for me to agree to this. I was given the freedom to choose the hairstyle, with the intention of complementing the looks, and I believe that each style achieved that. Overall, it was a wonderful experience; from the photoshoot to the runway, each person did their job and shone while doing it. If you’re out at the airport, please take a moment to see the exhibit—it’s absolutely beautiful in person.

This year’s winner is Anton Smith, an amazing vocalist and student at PPS’s CAPA. Anton will be singing on the Highmark Stage this coming Sunday as part of Highmark Pittsburgh’s First Night. Anton has a very bright career ahead of him!
