Curl pattern➿The curls are so tightly coiled they may appear to be a zigzag pattern.
Shrinkage👨🏾🦱This hair type is known for extreme shrinkage, which can make it appear much shorter than it is in its natural state.
Density👨🏾🦱4c hair is often very dense, giving it a full-bodied and voluminous appearance.
Texture➰The strands can range from fine and thin to coarse and wiry.
Fragility⛓️💥 tightly packed and delicate coils make 4c hair prone to dryness, tangling, and breakage, especially when not properly moisturized and handled.
4c Locs must be moisturized often, gently detangled, parted, separated. Blow drying the roots on cool/medium and gently pulling the locs down helps detangle and separate the zigzag pattern! It takes a little longer yet goes a long way and promotes longevity of the clients loc health! 😌
If the client’s hair is growing outside of the locs, it’s okay as long as there isn’t any major breakage! Gently crochet the hair back into the loc from a seamless look to help guide the hair to grow back into the loc! .slay_aesthetics
