I often get clients complaining about “black heads” on their nose, but they are actually dealing with sebaceous filaments.⠀
⠀
Sebaceous filaments are a build up of dirt and oil on the skin. They can give the appearance of black heads but if you look closely they are small hair like strands. People typically see sebaceous filaments on the nose, and they can be controlled by daily exfoliation. ⠀

As you can see in the photo I was able to remove the sebaceous filaments, but if this client does not keep up with exfoliation they are likely to return. ⠀
