Now trending: Air touch balayage has been around for some time but is trending more in 2026. What is it: It is a foil technique done with a blow dryer to push shorter pieces of hair out of the way to create a seamless blend and a low maintenance look without stripes. The upkeep is approximately 4 to 6 months. It's like foilayage without teasing the hair. I posted some examples above.

This was so much fun to do! I used wella color touch 2/0 1.9 for the dark wella color 6/45 44/65 1.9 for the red and blondorplex with pastel for the blonde highlights. Swipe to see the flip!
