This holiday season, we're excited to host a Food Drive at The Face Lab to support our local food bank in need.

✨Here is how you can join in:
Bring in non-expired, non-perishable food items (listed below) to the salon from November 1st until December 23rd.
For each item you donate, you will receive one entry into our $250 Gift Card Raffle.
The winner will be announced January 1st - a perfect way to start the New Year.

Below is a list of most needed items to help guide your donations. Every can, box and bag makes a difference.

🌞 May is Melanoma Awareness Month! 🌞

Did you know that melanoma is the deadliest form of skin cancer, but it’s also one of the most preventable? This month, let’s come together to raise awareness and take action to protect ourselves and our loved ones.

🔍 Melanoma rates have been rising steadily over the years, but early detection can greatly improve treatment outcomes. No age is “too young” for a skin check. But remember, prevention is key!

💬 As someone who has recently had melanoma, I can’t stress enough the importance of regular skin checks and sun safety practices. (Last slide is after my wide excision surgery). It saved my life, and it can save yours too.

🌟Wear sunscreen every day, seek shade during peak sun hours, and perform regular skin checks to catch any changes early. Your skin will thank you!

🙌 This month, let’s commit to scheduling a skin check, sharing melanoma awareness posts on social media, and supporting organizations dedicated to melanoma research and advocacy.
