Swipe to see why inspiration photos don’t always translate exactly the way we expect.
The photo on the left is my realistic version of the blonde inspiration photo on the right.
Could I go even lighter? Absolutely. But here’s the thing…
Hair color is only one piece of the puzzle.
The model has naturally lighter features, lighter eyes, lighter skin, and less natural depth in her hair. I have darker hair, darker brows, and more contrast in my features. Even if I lifted my hair to the exact same blonde level, the overall result would still look different because we’re different people.
The goal isn’t to copy someone’s hair perfectly. The goal is to create a version that works with your natural features, skin tone, eye color, and lifestyle.
Sometimes the most flattering result isn’t the lightest result.
As stylists, we’re not just recreating photos—we’re customizing them.
Save this for your next salon appointment and remember: inspiration photos are a starting point, not a blueprint. 🤍

Extensions can change your color, your thickness, and honestly… your whole vibe.
Rows are perfect if you want:
more fullness
brighter blonde without over-lightening
length that still looks natural
that “my hair just got expensive” finish
Let’s chat about what rows could do for you 🤍

soft dimension, subtle fullness, and just enough to change everything ✨
3 wefts for that “is it hers or isn’t it?” kind of volume — natural, effortless, completely elevated.
the goal was never more. it was better. 🤍

Soft dimension that feels effortless but looks completely elevated.
At UNdeux, it’s never just the hair…it’s the entire look coming together seamlessly. ✨

I’ll never not love education — refining, evolving, and sharing what I learn. Getting to do that with .claudia and .laurenleigh is the best part. And .chloe … your hair does half the work for us.

Let’s talk reds, inspo photos, and what we’re thinking for Cheyenne’s next color…
I love when clients bring inspo pics, but the best results always come from talking through tones that work with your natural undertones. These photos are all in the same vibe, but #2 has a really deep base and the last one is way too cool. Cheyenne looks her best with warmth in her color.
When you’re looking at inspo, try to picture it on you. Don’t just fall in love with pretty hair—look at the root shade, the mids, the ends, and how it would actually translate on your hair. That’s what makes a good consultation feel so easy.
What color do you love most for Cheyenne? Personally… I’m a warm copper girl for her—but I get that she wants to switch it up.
