The Nervana Health community is a continuous reminder to grow, to pursue interests, to work towards mastery
At the same time, it’s understood we will never fully *master* any one thing.
Yet, the pursuit to master something old or something new keeps us growing together every day.
It’s a blessing to experience so many firsts with sauna and cold plunge sits,
And then to watch those same people - weeks or months later - look like a professional in the ice or stoic in the sauna heat.
Not every experience for progress and the pursuit of mastery need to be as intense as the contrast of sauna and ice. Though they are great reminders that we can always learn more 😉

“When in doubt, walk it out.”
I used to think cold water would kill me very quickly, so it was transformational to learn to sit with it and find inner calm in its strong grip. Win Hof brought this ancient practice back into mainstream.
Hannah and Tyler sat down with Tom Pollard at the Positively Pittsburgh Podcast to chat about how ice water created big changes for them and many people they’ve met.
Tune in to Tom’s show hear stories from our wonderful city.
“It is no measure of health to be well adjusted to a profoundly sick society.”
I used to stop myself from stretching in public because I didn’t want to look weird. F**k that. Normal is sick and tired. I’m going MAX on my weirdness.
Get out there and have some fun. Inspire your older neighbors peak out their curtains. Each of us can make enormous shifts and it all starts inside You.
We embrace weird. 🫂
What’s one of the weird things you do ?

If 💩 hit the fan around you, are you ready to move?
Survival states get a lot of flack bc our highly stimulating society tends to keep us in them for far too long. Yet, these states are integral to surviving. You want your heart rate to go up and adrenaline to pump when you need it. You want your body primed to move fast if you need to Get out of Dodge.
This week we explore navigating big stress responses and what habits we can create to be ready to go 💪

There comes a point in every life when the instinct to survive no longer feels like enough. We eat, sleep, work, and repeat until something within us asks, Is this all there is?
That question is the beginning of realization. It’s the moment when awareness turns inward and we begin to notice the quiet space between our instincts and our choices. Animals act from instinct; we, too, are wired to seek safety and comfort, but we also have the gift of reflection. We can pause. We can ask why.
Meaning is born in that pause. It’s not something we find outside ourselves, but something we create through attention, compassion, and connection. It’s in the way we love, the way we forgive, the way we choose to show up even when it hurts.
To realize is to wake up—to see ourselves not just as creatures trying to survive, but as beings capable of wonder, creativity, and purpose. It’s the sacred privilege of being human: to live with awareness, to shape our lives with intention, and to find beauty in the brief, miraculous moment we’ve been given.
