Helping Gastric Ulcers in Horses Naturally with MagnaWave!

As always, work with your veterinarian for a diagnosis and medications!

Gastric ulcers are commonly found in horses. A third of adult horses confined in stalls and over 60% of performance horses develop moderate to severe gastric ulcers.

Horses constantly produce hydrochloric acid which can accumulate in the stomach when the horse does not eat often enough. This causes an acid build-up that can lead to gastric ulcers. With gastric ulcers being such a common occurrence, owners and trainers are MagnaWaving gastric ulcers in horses naturally with PEMF.

MagnaWave with Gastric Ulcers

PEMF uses pulses of electromagnetic waves deep into damaged and diseased tissue. The coils can be strategically placed and emit a measurable magnetic field up to 16 inches. This electromagnetic field helps cells to function normally and strengthens cell metabolism.

MagnaWave uses PEMF to helps to reduce inflammation and promote healing. It can be used as an adjunct modality to help the horse feel better as other changes in management are made.

Addressing gastric ulcers in horses naturally with PEMF is safe, non-invasive and has no adverse side effects. It requires no sedation and is both calming and relaxing to the horse.

Contact me today to learn more about PEMF or schedule a session!

We had a wonderful time at the spa of Allegheny Equine Associates today! My very own Carbon got electro acupuncture today by Dr. Brown. Each modality improves/enhances the other and each play a part to wellness. Carbon has been receiving massages and chiropractic care as well as MagnaWave. The view of the acupuncture points as places to stimulate nerves, muscles and connective tissue.

I love incorporating other methods with our MagnaWave and massages, from neuromuscular dentistry, chiropractic, acupuncture, veterinary medicine and so many others!

If your horse is suffering from hoof abscesses, MagnaWave may help expedite the healing process.

An abscess is an accumulation of pus (which are simply dead white blood cells) that have formed a lump internally or externally on the horse’s body. An abscess occurs as a result of an infection. Abscesses can begin with a wound, a nail in the hoof, or pe*******on of the skin with a foreign object. The accumulated white blood cells become encapsulated as the body works to isolate the infection, in turn forming an abscess.

MagnaWave uses PEMF technology to essentially stimulates good oxygenation, better blood flow to the body, in turn, allowing it to heal itself.

Some symptoms of hoof abscesses may include:

😖Pain due to pressure

🩼Lameness

🤢Secretion of pus

🔥 A firm lump that may be tender or hot

🐴 Slight swelling at the sight

PEMF for your horse's abscess is non-invasive, requires no downtime, is chemical free and has no side effects.

Schedule a Session! Disclosure: We will not diagnose the horse, so please consult/confirm with a veterinarian first.

This poor guy was 3 legged lame for over a week. Even had vet support to make sure nothing else was wrong. Finally, after a week and no improvement, he got MagnaWaved 2 days in a row and supported with leg wraps, drawing agent and vet recommendations. By the end of the second day he could actually stand on his leg, and in 4 days from the first session, the farrier was able to put his shoe back on and back to riding. You can see where the abscess released, poor guys heel was hurting terrible!
