A Hairy Situation

Thank you all for helping Closed the Salon today !!! You all mean so much to me !!! You been with me good and bad ,Covid , cried together through life’s experiences , and had a lot of laughs along the way . Will miss ya all but we will get together when I am home . Thank you to all the customers for all their kind words . If you are ever in the Outer Banks look me up love to see you all !!! As they say That is a wrap 21 years thank you and love ya all !!! Happy New Year’s live your dreams!!!

There comes a time in our lives where our dreams become reality and once we live them, we create new ones. Carol Burnett excuses this in “Closing Song” when she says I’m so glad we had this time together just to laugh or sing a song (maybe not a song here though lol) . Seems we just got started and before you know it ,comes the time we have to say so long.

These past 21 years at A Hairy Situation have been nothing but wonderful and everything I could have ever imagined. My husband,Roy will be retiring from the Electrician Union and my children who were once 4,5,11 are all growing up , getting married , having children of their own, and living their own dreams . The sounds of the beach are calling us, and we believe it is time to turn the page on a new chapter in our lives.

We are saddened to let you know A Hairy Situation will be closing at the end of this year.

I personally want to thank each and every one of you for allowing this dream of mine become reality. This could have never been possible without my team, Stephen, Bonnie, Dawn , and Janet. The unwavering support has helped me through thick and thin , and I could not be more appreciative. I wish them the best as they also begin a new chapter. I wish all of our customers nothing but happiness and good health. If you ever visit the Outer Banks in Carova Beach, don’t be afraid to reach out , I’d love to show you the horses!
